Terms
Last updated October 23, 2026 · Effective date set after legal review
Draft, pending legal review. It may change before it’s final. It describes ClubCrew as it works today.
These terms are an agreement between you and Product LLC, which runs ClubCrew (“we”, “us”). By using ClubCrew you agree to them, and to how we handle information as described in our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use ClubCrew.
ClubCrew is a beta
ClubCrew is an early version, and it will change. Some parts are stand-ins, labeled in the app: ticket checkout is simulated and nothing is charged, and some listed events are samples. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may pause or shut ClubCrew down. If we shut it down, we’ll tell you in the app first.
The demo at demo.clubcrew.dev is public and gets reset. Anyone can see what’s in it, so don’t put real details there.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older.
- You need a US or Canadian mobile number that’s yours.
- One account per person. Don’t sign in as someone else, or with a number that isn’t yours.
- You can’t use ClubCrew if we’ve removed you before, or if the law doesn’t allow you to.
Your account
You sign in with a passkey saved on your device, or with a one-time code we text to your number or email to an address you’ve confirmed. Keep codes to yourself: anyone who has one can get into your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account. If you lose or change your number, email alex@product.inc so we can take the old one off your account, because whoever gets that number next could sign in with it.
Play nice
Don’t use ClubCrew to:
- harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or post hateful content;
- post sexual content involving anyone under 18 (we report it to the authorities), or anyone’s intimate images without their consent;
- share other people’s private information without their permission;
- send spam, ads, or invites people don’t want;
- impersonate anyone, or claim a profile that isn’t yours;
- buy, sell or arrange anything illegal;
- get around the bot check or code limits, request codes in bulk, scrape the app, or attack its security;
- break the law or anyone else’s rights.
We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules.
What you post
You own what you post in ClubCrew: chat messages, crew names and anything else. You give us permission to store it, copy it and show it to the people it’s meant for, only so ClubCrew can work. That permission ends when it’s deleted.
Everyone on a plan can read its chat, including friends who joined from a link without signing in. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want all of them to see.
You’re responsible for what you post. We don’t check everything, but we may remove anything that breaks these terms. To report something, email alex@product.inc.
Adding friends
When you add someone to a crew, ClubCrew saves their name and the number, email or Instagram handle you enter, so your invites can reach them and their spot is waiting when they join. They haven’t agreed to anything yet, so only add people you actually know. By adding someone, you confirm that:
- you know them, and they’d expect to hear from you about plans;
- the details are theirs, and they’re fine with you having them;
- they’re 18 or older;
- they haven’t told you they don’t want to be on ClubCrew, and you’ll remove them if they ask.
Never add people to harass them, to find out who a number belongs to, or to build a list. Anyone can ask us to delete a profile made for them, as the Privacy Policy explains.
Invite links
Each invite has a personal link. Anyone holding it can answer that invite and join that plan’s chat as the person it’s for, so send it only to them.
A plan’s group link lets anyone who has it see the event, who’s going and the names of invited people who haven’t joined yet, and join the plan. Share it only in chats with people you’d invite.
Tickets
ClubCrew doesn’t sell tickets. When you buy through a plan, you buy from the ticket seller, under its terms, prices, fees and refund rules, and the organizer is responsible for the event. Questions about a ticket, a refund or a canceled event go to them.
We may earn a commission from the seller on tickets bought through ClubCrew.
During the beta, checkout is simulated: nothing is charged and no real tickets are issued.
If you buy tickets for friends, settling up is between you and them. ClubCrew doesn’t handle money between friends.
Event details such as dates, lineups and prices come from organizers and sellers, and can change or be wrong. Check with the seller before you buy.
Text messages
ClubCrew texts one-time sign-in codes when one is requested for your number, and nothing else. One message per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
Ending things
You can stop using ClubCrew at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing alex@product.inc.
We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you break these terms, if your use puts others or ClubCrew at risk, or if we shut ClubCrew down. Where it makes sense, we’ll tell you why.
The sections on guarantees, liability and governing law keep applying after your account ends.
No guarantees
ClubCrew is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, as far as the law allows. We don’t promise it will always work, be free of errors, keep your data forever, or deliver every code or message.
We’re not responsible for events, venues, ticket sellers or other users, or for what happens on a night out. Look after yourself and each other.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Product LLC and its people aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from ClubCrew or these terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. ClubCrew is free, so today that’s $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using ClubCrew after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
The rest
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about ClubCrew. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we haven’t given up the right to. You can’t transfer these terms to someone else. We can, as part of a merger or sale of ClubCrew.
